What are the overage charges for CoinGecko API?

Once you have expended the monthly API call credit according to your respective API plans, you will be charged an overage fee for every API call made after the limit.

It is charged at a flat rate of $0.0005 per credit, wherein 1 API call to any endpoints is equivalent to 1 credit.

For comparison, these are what the charges will look like:
$2.50 for every 5,000 calls made
$25 for every 50,000 calls made
$250 for every 500,000 calls made

 

Rest assured, you will receive notifications to your registered account email as you approach 80% and 100% credit usage by default, with options to enable more notices at 50% and 90% via the Developer Dashboard.
