I cannot login to CoinGecko on the web or submit forget password, getting the error "The change you wanted was rejected".

You may find yourself getting the following error page as per the screenshot, "The change you wanted was rejected - Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to." on the CoinGecko website when doing the following action with user accounts :-

• Login / Sign in
• Forget password

Note this issue has been acknowledged and our team is still actively working on a fix.

Before submitting a support ticket, it is recommended that you try these workarounds:-

1. If you are getting this error, go back to coingecko.com. Wait for about a minute and then refresh the page again and try logging in or use the forget password.
2. Open a new browser (or open an incognito window), visit coingecko.com and try logging in or use the forget password again.

One of the above may solve your problem and you can proceed with your account.
