I cannot sign up / register for an account using Google Login or Apple ID on the CoinGecko website - getting the error "Looks like something is wrong" with a space gecko floating

When signing up for an account, you may opt to use Google or Apple login to register for an account easily on CoinGecko.

However, you may get an error like the screenshot below.

Note that this issue has been acknowledged and the team is working to figure out a fix for this.

It may likely be an edge case with the Google and Apple login that prevents the CoinGecko system from recognizing it for registration.

In order to workaround this issue, would be to try the email/password registration instead. Most users reported success with this approach and can continue to use CoinGecko as is.
