A common issue we get from users are that when they logged into their account, they found that all the coins and transactions that they have added to their watchlist and portfolio has disappeared or has been deleted.
If this happen to you, you will want to first verify how you have logged in to your account. There are 3 ways to login to CoinGecko - Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, and using your email address.
The problem happens when you originally created the account with an email, and then proceed to sign up with Google even if its the same email or vice versa.
CoinGecko sees both as two different account unless you choose to link them and that requires you to first login to the originally created account.
As such, you will want to login to your original account first (be it email, Google or Apple) and chances are your watchlist and portfolio would still be there.
