What is ‘Action Needed’?
‘Action Needed’ is a Call To Action (CTA) for submitters to provide additional information to our team during our evaluation process. This enables applicants to furnish us with additional information before a request is potentially rejected.
What Happens When Your Request is Marked as 'Action Needed'?
-
Email Notification: You will receive an email notifying you that your request requires additional information.
-
Portal Status Update: Your request status will be updated to Action Needed in your user portal.
How to Respond to an 'Action Needed' Request?
- Navigate to your user portal (‘View My Request’), hover over the Action Needed status badge
- Click on the Action Needed status badge, it will open a modal where you can review the details and respond.
- Provide a reply in the Reply to Gecko section based on the Message from Gecko section. Please provide as much detail as possible in your response to us. Failure to objectively answer the question accurately will result in potential rejection.
-

- Our team will then reevaluate your request based on the provided details.
Important: Automatic Rejection Policy
