How to update Volume on my Chain page on CoinGecko?

CoinGecko sources on-chain volume data from GeckoTerminal. To request for the addition of Chain volume, please ensure the respective Chain is listed on GeckoTerminal.

Step 1: Check for availability on GeckoTerminal

1. Navigate to GeckoTerminal: Go to the GeckoTerminal website: https://www.geckoterminal.com/.
2. Search for the Chain: Search for your respective Chain.
   • Example: If you want to update the chain volume for Solana, search and click on "Solana" from the search bar.

     

3. Identify the "slug" in the URL: Once you are on the chain's page, look at the URL. The "slug" is the part of the URL that identifies the chain.
   • Example: For Solana, the URL is https://www.geckoterminal.com/solana/pools. The slug is solana.

Step 2: Submit Your Request

1. Submit a Request: Go to the CoinGecko support page and click the "Submit a request" button in the top-right corner.

   

2. Provide the Chain Slug: In your request, clearly state that you are requesting a chain volume update and provide the GeckoTerminal URL and the "slug" you identified from GeckoTerminal.
3. Await Verification: The CoinGecko team will verify the data on GeckoTerminal and apply the volume update accordingly.
