- Self-Serve Ads: Advertisers independently create and manage selected ads using our self-serve platform.
- Managed Ads: Advertisers engage directly with our business development team for ad placements.
2. What payment methods are accepted?
- Self-Serve Ads: CoinGecko only accept Card Payments (Credit/ Debit).
- Managed Ads: CoinGecko accepts ETH, BTC, USDC (ERC20), USDT (ERC20) or USD Bank Transfer. We do not accept credit card payments.
3. Can I get a report of my ad performance?
- Self-Serve Ads: Advertisers can manage ad performance via “Report” in your dashboard.
- Managed Ads: CoinGecko can provide ad performance reports upon request. Additionally, daily or weekly email reports can be arranged.
4. How fast can an ad be served or changed on CoinGecko?
- Self-Serve Ads: Once the payment is made, up to 2 working days are required to review and approve the ad.
- Managed Ads: Once the full payment is made, we require 2 working days to serve an ad or to make any ad changes on CoinGecko. That being said, we strive to fulfil all requests as fast as possible, and in most situations, we can complete the requests within 12 hours on a business day.
5. Can I run multiple banners for Managed Ads?
Yes, you can run multiple banners to A/B test. Our ad servers will optimize campaign performance by selecting the best-performing creatives or distributing impressions evenly across all creatives.
6. What are the targeting types for Managed Ads?
Geographical location, language and device targeting options are available upon request.
7. Are there additional costs for geo-targeting or user interest targeting for Managed Ads?

8. How can I publish Sponsored Articles & Press Releases?

Ad credits function like in-game currency. They can be purchased and topped up to run advertising campaigns on CoinGecko. Campaigns can continue running as long as there are sufficient credits.
10. My Ads Credits aren’t showing after topping up. What should I do?
If your Ad Credits are not visible after topping up, please contact our Support team for assistance.
11. Can I request a refund if my ad performance is unsatisfactory?
No, refunds are not provided based on ad performance. Please review our advertising policy before purchasing.
12. For Self-Serve Ads, can I pause my ad campaign?
Yes, you can pause your campaign by navigating to Campaign, then toggling the On/Pause button.
13. For Self-Serve Ads, Can I end my ad campaign early?
Yes, to end a campaign early, go to Campaign, select the respective campaign, go to Action, and click End Campaign.
