Types of Stablecoins

We differentiate between bridged and natively issued USDC/USDT to highlight their distinct characteristics and risk profiles.

Native Stablecoins

• List of Native USDT: https://tether.to/en/supported-protocols/
• List of Native USDC: https://www.circle.com/en/multi-chain-usdc

Stablecoins officially minted by respective protocols/issuers such as (Tether, Circle) will be added to the page details of the underlying token.

Non-native Stablecoins

• List of Non-native USDC: https://www.coingecko.com/en/categories/bridged-usdc 

Stablecoins NOT minted by official protocols/issuers will be listed separately as a new token.

Please follow the appropriate steps below based on the type of stablecoin you are applying for.

Submit a Coin Listing Request for [New / Unofficial Stablecoins]

Please submit a New Coin Listing request using our self-serve request form IF your stablecoin is NOT officially issued by the respective stablecoin protocol/issuer (i.e Circle or Tether treasury).

Fill out all mandatory fields on this coin listing form. Kindly refer to this guide for more information on listing submission procedures.

For new stablecoin listings, ensure that the naming convention is followed accurately in your submissions.

Example Bridged Assets:

{protocol/ issuer-name}_{’Bridged’}_{token-ticker}_({network}

For example: (Considering that the bridge supports multiple network, e.g. Celer, Axelar, Beam)

• Axelar Bridged USDC (Linea)

Submit a Detail Update request for [Official Stablecoins]

Please submit a detail update request to update stablecoin contract address on our self-serve request form If your Stablecoin is officially minted by a Stablecoin issuer/protocol. Please include all relevant links and information which proves that your stablecoin is officially minted by the respective issuer/protocol in your submission.
